Frequently Asked Questions

The SNX Education and Collaboration Forum breaks down traditional trade show barriers to offer more trade and less show. This multifaceted event features an experiential approach that facilitates meaningful discussions, discovery and decision-making—which in turn leads to new product innovation, efficiencies and growth.

Below are answers to your biggest questions about this new and exciting event!

How is SNX different from SNAXPO?

Both events are hosted by SNAC International — the only snack-centric trade association — and both events complement each other by alternating every other year. SNAXPO is the snack industry’s only vertically integrated supply-chain trade show featuring a global network of suppliers, producers and emerging tastemakers from across the entire industry. On its traditional expo floor, you’ll get up close to state-of-the-art industrial equipment, the hottest flavors and the latest packaging.

SNX is a more intimate meeting that foregoes the traditional expo floor in favor of supplier-led experiences that deliver new ideas and efficiencies to your manufacturing process. The meeting is broken into three main components: the Experience Zone, Education Arena and Supplier Suites Meetings.

Who should attend SNX?

SNX is all about getting business done. Typically, we see the following titles in attendance: R&D Managers/Directors, Vice Presidents of Manufacturing, Process Engineers, Operations Leads, Procurement Leads, QA/Food Safety Personnel, Regulatory Personnel, Packaging Managers, Facilities Managers, and Sales & Marketing.  If you have a role in buying and/or selling products and services for your company this is the show to attend.

Who will I meet at SNX?

You’ll meet top decision-makers and collaborate with customers and prospects from across the global snack industry. If you see them at SNAXPO, you will see them at SNX!

How are the meetings set-up in the Supplier Suites?

The SNX scheduling platform and attendee list will be available by February 15. Suppliers and producers can book private meetings in 30-minute increments to collaborate over specific solutions that will help deliver innovative, high-quality snacks to market. The SNX schedule includes two hours of “open house” time and seven hours dedicated to scheduled meetings in the Supplier Suites.

How does the Experience Zone Work?

To facilitate organic networking and discovery, the Experience Zone includes Supplier-Hosted Collaboration Kiosks, SNAC Bites education presentations, and Engagement Areas featuring supplier-led, hands-on activities. The Experience Zone is divided into five interactive areas, where leading suppliers will walk you through the entire manufacturing process of a snack, from raw materials to finished product:

Ingredients > Processing > Flavor > Packaging > Marketing

What can I expect to see in the Education Arena?

You will engage with keynote speakers and breakout education sessions addressing the hottest topics in snacks and emerging industry trends vital to your success. Back by popular demand, SNX will also feature the SNAC Tank pitch competition, based on the hit TV show Shark Tank, where startup brands will pitch their snack innovations for a chance to win a cash prize.
